If you don’t feel comfortable in clothes because of your weight or for any other reason, you may be considering buying baggy jeans.

Many people think this will help hide what they perceive as imperfections, but in reality, you aren’t doing yourself any favors. These may seem like a good idea, but they aren’t really helping you achieve a better look. If anything, they may accentuate what you are trying to cover up.

Baggy jeans come and go in fashion, but they are always around. Some people wear them exclusively as a fashion statement, and there is nothing wrong with that. You may find, however, that they are making you look bigger than you really are if you are trying to look a little slimmer. You don’t want to wear something that is totally form fitting, but you don’t want to go with something that makes you look like a big, huge frump. Baggy jeans may even be something you wear once in a while, but don’t rely on them every single day if you don’t like your body.

Perhaps the best thing you can do is to go into the store and try on a few different types of jeans. Get some baggy jeans, and get some that are a little more fit to your curves. Try them on and have a good look in the mirror to see what you really think. You may indeed decide that they baggy jeans are something you should pass on. Of course, if you want to wear them just because they are comfortable, it really isn’t going to matter what you see in the mirror. You are, after all, entitled to wear exactly what you want to wear.

Feeling good in your clothes may have nothing to do with whether or not you choose to wear baggy jeans or not. It is more about how you feel about yourself and how you carry yourself when you go out. If you are comfortable in your own skin it is going to show. Don’t think that you have to wear baggy jeans if you don’t want to. If you are comfortable and feel good about what you are wearing, it is going to show, and you may find that it doesn’t matter what the mirror tells you. Being comfortable with you no matter what you size or flaws may be is by far the best accessory anyone can wear.
